Why a patient’s perspective matters.
Ontario is a huge province and health-care priorities can vary widely depending on where patients live. The OMA wants to hear from every region and community to develop a plan that will meet the needs of all patients, no matter where they live.
How we will use the information?
This survey is an important part of a broad consultation process that has involved doctors, nurses and other health-care professionals as well as community leaders across Ontario. These findings are important in helping the OMA develop a plan to improve health-care and create a more integrated and sustainable system for all Ontarians The OMA will release its plan this fall.
